London Gardens Society Awards
Sarastro is delighted to announce that it has been awarded FIRST PRIZE in the London Gardens Society Awards 2014 for “showing pride in London by the cultivation of flowers and shrubs but especially for horticultural displays” in the category for restaurants, pubs and hotels. Those of you that know the restaurant will know that we are dedicated to providing a garden oasis in the heart of the bustling West End. Although this is not the first time that our green fingered endeavours have been recognised it is no less pleasing to know that that we continue to brighten up people’s visit to the area.
We are delighted to announce that Sarastro was amongst 7 national finalists in the category Best Group Catering Experience in the Group Travel awards 2014. Finalist are voted or by Group Travel Agents and also by travel writers so we are very proud to have made it on to the shortlist which included some fantastic restaurants.
Sarastro On TV
We are delighted and proud to announce that Sarastro restaurant was featured on Canada's Food Network television programme 'The World's Weirdest Restaurants' in May 2012. Host Bob Blumer visited us on a Sunday night when we have a string quartet and opera singers. It was a fantastic evening as usual with fantastic performances from the musicians and singers.
